Dallas McKee

Vice President and Director of Financial Planning
Dallas works directly with clients to build, implement, and maintain every part of the plan, with particular focus on divorce and life transitions.
Biography
Dallas McKee joined Lifeway Financial in 2009 and serves as Director of Financial Planning. He understands that every plan starts with a goal. Dallas works with clients to define what their goals actually are, and then helps build a plan to achieve them.
Dallas earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and a Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning, both from Texas Tech University. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®. Dallas also assists on the membership committee of Collaborative Divorce Texas. He also serves as a financial neutral in collaborative divorce cases, where he helps individuals understand their current financial picture and find a path to starting fresh.
He has held several board roles in the profession, including past President of the Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter of the Financial Planning Association and a seat on the Texas Tech University Personal Financial Planning Alumni Advisory Board.
Outside the office, Dallas spends his time with his wife and their two daughters.

Dallas was named the 2026 recipient of the School of Financial Planning's Distinguished Alumni Award. Selected through the Alumni Advisory Board's nomination process and confirmed by the faculty, the honor recognizes graduates whose careers, character, and service reflect the best of the program.
The recognition reflects more than two decades of leadership in financial planning, service to the profession, and support for the next generation of planners.
